Business Services at Hendrick Medical Center bills and collects in a timely manner for services provided by Hendrick Medical Center, adhering to all billing and collection rules established by Medicare, Medicaid, third party carriers and all local, state and federal government agencies.
Business Services staff members are administrative professionals trained in the complexities of hospital and/or physician billing and collection.
The Business Services staff at Hendrick Medical Center provides:

Face-to-face customer service by meeting with customers who visit our office at 2182 Hickory

Telephone customer service by answering calls relating to bills, statements and general billing and collection questions

Resource assistance service by helping customers find available assistance and guiding them through the application process

Payment posting services by determining that payments are applied appropriately to dates of service

Billing services by getting charges through the system and filed to the appropriate insurance company or billed to the patient in a timely manner

Follow-up services by contacting insurance companies when payments are not received in a timely manner

Collection services through the discussion of payment arrangements, with no interest, and management of accounts through the entire collection process, up to and including referral to an outside agency

Holiday closings are New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
