About Release of Information
A record of the care a patient receives at Hendrick Medical Center is retained in the Health Information Management (HIM) department. This record of care, called your Protected Health Information (PHI), is kept in strict confidence and will not be released without the patient’s written consent, except as required by law. Release of Information is the HIM section that determines who can have access to your PHI. |
